Dr. Addy

Dr. Adeola Olubamiji is a Digital Transformation Leader and Additive Manufacturing subject matter expert. Founder of STEMHub Foundation, Canada, Founder of D-Tech Centrix Inc. Canada and USA, a Real Estate Investor with over 10 properties within her portfolio, and currently a Forbes Coaches Council member. Dr. Olubamiji became the first Black person to obtain a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 2017 and inspired us all through her humble beginnings and trailblazing journey. She has since used industry 4.0 to accelerate her career growth, rising from an entry-level engineer to a Director and subject-matter-expert (SME) in additive manufacturing in Corporate America within four years of completing her Ph.D. She sits on the board of advisors for Women in 3D printing and is known as an Additive Manufacturing Subject-matter-expert across Africa, North America, and Europe and was recognized as one of the 27 Most Influential Women in Manufacturing. Her academic contributions have yielded several scholarly scientific publications, scientific conference presentations, and a TEDx talk. Some of the awards she has won include 2022 Women of the Year by DMZ Canada, 2020 Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women, 2020 STEP (Science Technology Engineering and Production) Award by the American Manufacturing Institute, RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant 2020, 2019 Influential Women in Manufacturing Award by Putman Media, 2019 L'Oréal Paris Women of Worth Canada Honoree, 2019 Canada's Top 100 Black Women to Watch, and so many others Through her consulting company D-Tech Centrix Inc (with branches in the US, Canada, and Nigeria), she has impacted over 10,000 professionals on their journey to the top of their careers at their desired locations. In addition, she champions relocation opportunities through study abroad programs for Africans who wish to relocate abroad and thrive in their desired locations. Her passion is helping others and she believes that people can't be what they can't see. As such, she founded STEMHub Foundation, Canada in 2017. STEMHub foundation is a Canadian Charity Organization that provides free hands-on experiments and unique learning programs that engage black youths in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), mentorship programs to visible minority professionals, and provide free industry 4.0 to professionals with the intention to pivot into the technology space in Canada.
